Open porous marble or stone surfaces react sensitively to fats, oils and other dirt deposits, which easily penetrate the surfaces. The raw surfaces deeply absorb these pollutants, which lead to unattractive and clearly visible stains. Even with intensive cleaning such persistent stains cannot be removed.
Our Hydrophobic / Oleophobic coating was conceived in such a way that deposits of pollutants are reduced to a minimum and damages from environmental influences are prevented. Through the Hydrophobic / Oleophobic effect of the protective coating, dirt particles are easily removed wihtout the need for abrasive cleaning solvents or machines. Due to its inorganic network structure, the coating is extremely durable.
With the application of the coating, nanoscale particles are integrated into the surface texture. Through a chemical reaction, functional groups form a bond with the stone which gives the surface a long lasting easy to maintain protective surface.
Once cured the coating will offer full UV stability, heat stability up to 450celsius, graffiti protection and no moss or fungus formation. Can be applied to both vertical and horizontal areas, interior / exterior. The stone surfaces also continue breathing after the coating.
